Imaging Associates provides a fresh approach to Radiology and is owned by a team of well-respected Radiologists with practices across the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Gippsland and Wagga Wagga.
We are continuing on our growth journey, with new clinics opening in late 2025 and early 2026.
As a result, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Administration Team Leader to join the team at our new clinic in Clyde, opening in late 2025. [Training for this role will commence ASAP for the successful candidate at our Narre Warren clinic].
You will join a friendly and professional team, and be instrumental in cultivating a positive team culture and ensuring the smooth workflow of our clinic, which enables us to deliver a high-quality service to our patients and referrers.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Chief Medical Imaging Technologist and Clinical Leads, in this hands-on role you will:
- Lead and participate in the smooth operation of the reception area and overall clinic workflow
- Manage billing, banking, and Medicare related activities
- Provide ongoing training, development, and mentoring to team members
- Convey business updates from management and oversee correct application of changes
- Plan and oversee workforce requirements in conjunction with practice management by ensuring appropriate rostering and leave planning
- Utilise leadership expertise to manage escalations and resolve complex queries
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve and achieve maximum efficiencies to deliver patient excellence
What are we looking for?
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a private Radiology setting
- Knowledge of the patient workflow and supporting administration processes, policies, and Medicare billing
- The ability to lead by example, with demonstrated experience in motivating and mentoring a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
- Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively resolve difficult situations to achieve good outcomes
- A keen eye for details and passion for process-driven continuous improvement
- Flexibility to work at multiple sites (within local vicinity) as required
