Imaging Associates provides a fresh approach to Radiology and is owned by a team of well-respected Radiologists with practices across the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Gippsland and Wagga Wagga.
We are continuing on our growth journey, with new clinics opening in 2026 and beyond.
As a result, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Administration Team Leader to join the team at our new clinic in Richmond, opening in early 2026. [Training for this role will commence ASAP for the successful candidate at our nearby clinics].
You will join a friendly and professional team and be instrumental in cultivating a positive team culture and ensuring the smooth workflow of our clinic, which enables us to deliver a high-quality service to our patients and referrers.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Chief Medical Imaging Technologist and Clinical Leads, in this hands-on role you will:
- Lead and participate in the smooth operation of the reception area and overall clinic workflow
- Manage billing, banking, and Medicare related activities
- Provide ongoing training, development, and mentoring to team members
- Convey business updates from management and oversee correct application of changes
- Plan and oversee workforce requirements in conjunction with practice management by ensuring appropriate rostering and leave planning
- Utilise leadership expertise to manage escalations and resolve complex queries
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve and achieve maximum efficiencies to deliver patient excellence
What are we looking for?
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a Radiology setting (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of the patient workflow and supporting administration processes, policies, and Medicare billing
- The ability to lead by example, with demonstrated experience in motivating and mentoring a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
- Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively resolve difficult situations to achieve good outcomes
- A keen eye for details and passion for process-driven continuous improvement
