As Team Leader, you will play a key role in cultivating a positive team culture and ensuring the smooth workflow of our clinic, which enables us to deliver a high-quality service to our patients and referrers.

What will you be doing?
This role reports to the Administration Manager and will be working closely with the Chief Medical Imaging Technologist and Clinical Lead. In this hands-on role you will:
- Lead and participate in the smooth operation of the reception area and overall clinic workflow
- Manage billing, banking, and Medicare related activities
- Provide ongoing training, development, and mentoring to team members
- Convey business updates from management and oversee correct application of changes
- Plan and oversee workforce requirements in conjunction with practice management by ensuring appropriate rostering and leave planning
- Utilise leadership expertise to manage escalations and resolve complex queries
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve and achieve maximum efficiencies to deliver patient excellence
What are we looking for?
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Previous healthcare experience and knowledge of the patient workflow and supporting administration processes, policies, and Medicare billing
- The ability to lead by example, with demonstrated experience in motivating and mentoring a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
- Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively resolve complex situations to achieve good outcomes
- A keen eye for details and passion for process-driven continuous improvement
- Previous experience within a private Radiology setting (highly regarded)
