Imaging Associates is seeking an experienced Radiologist to become Clinical Director of our Carlton Clinicâa distinctive clinical leadership and ownership opportunity within our doctor-led network.
Our partnership with the Carlton Football Club creates regular opportunities to support the imaging needs of elite athletes, including AFL and AFLW players. You’ll work within a high-performance sporting environment, encounter complex MSK and sports medicine cases, and collaborate with a strong network of leading referrers.

The opportunity
As Clinical Director, you will provide clinical leadership and help shape the ongoing success of the Carlton Clinic. You will:

Lead the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred radiology services

Provide clinical direction to the radiology and medical imaging teams

Maintain strong, trusted relationships with referring clinicians

Help optimise clinical workflows, service delivery and patient outcomes
-
Champion quality, safety, timely reporting and clinical governance
-
Support education, professional engagement and clinic growth

Foster a collaborative, respectful and high-performing team culture

Work alongside Imaging Associates’ Clinical Directors, operational leaders and executive team

Participate inâand potentially take a leadership role withinâour MSK fellowship program, helping develop the next generation of MSK radiologists

About you
You will be an accomplished Radiologist who combines clinical expertise with credible, people-centred leadership.
You will bring:

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR)
-
Current AHPRA specialist registration in radiology
-
Significant post-fellowship experience in a complex or high-volume clinical environment
-
Strong MSK expertise or relevant subspecialty fellowship training
-
Demonstrated clinical leadership experience
-
A sound understanding of clinical governance, radiation safety and RANZCR standards
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with referrers, colleagues and operational teams
-
A collaborative, accountable and improvement-focused approach
-
An interest in teaching, mentoring and developing future MSK radiologists
