About the role
This is a newly created role within a growing, multi-site radiology business. With our WHS Framework, Strategy and Roadmap recently established, your focus will be on embedding, operationalising and continuously evolving these across the organisation.
Working closely with leaders and frontline teams, you will drive a consistent, practical and scalable approach to health, safety and wellbeingâstrengthening culture, improving outcomes, and ensuring compliance across our clinics and corporate functions.
This role will suit an experienced WHS professional who enjoys translating strategy into action, building capability in leaders, and creating systems that work in dynamic, real-world environments.
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and embedding a proactive safety culture. You will partner with operational leaders to implement fit-for-purpose systems, uplift capability, and ensure health, safety and wellbeing are integrated into everyday decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Embed & Evolve the Strategy: Operationalise the WHS Framework and Roadmap, ensuring a consistent, scalable approach across all sites as the business grows
- Drive Risk & Compliance: Lead a proactive approach to managing physical and psychosocial risks, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and best practice
- Partner with Leaders: Build capability, embed accountability, and integrate health, safety and wellbeing into everyday operations
- Lead Incident & Injury Management: Oversee investigations, corrective actions, workers compensation and sustainable return-to-work outcomes
- Strengthen Systems & Governance: Establish and uplift WHS policies, frameworks, audit processes, reporting and performance metrics
- Build Capability & Culture: Deliver training, tools and initiatives that promote a strong, safety-first and inclusive culture across the organisation
About You
You are a pragmatic and influential WHS professional who enjoys working closely with leaders to embed sustainable safety practices. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and are comfortable operating in a growing, evolving environment.
Qualifications & Professional Experience
- Bring Relevant Experience: 7â10+ years in a similar role, with a strong track record implementing WHS systems, frameworks and governance models.
- Apply WHS Expertise: Deep knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice and psychosocial risk requirements, with the ability to translate these into practical solutions.
- Embed & Scale Frameworks: Proven experience implementing WHS strategies across multi-site environments and driving organisation-wide adoption.
- Influence & Build Capability: Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, coach leaders and lead sustainable cultural change.
- Leverage Data & Industry Insight: Experience using data to drive improvement, with a background in healthcare or similar multi-site environments, supported by relevant WHS qualifications.
