MRI Supervisor â Doncaster & Rowville
IA is excited to about our newest clinic opening at Doncaster and we we are seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused MRI Supervisor responsible for overseeing the MRI services at both Doncaster and Rowville
Take your clinical and mentoring skills to the next level and play a key role in driving service excellence within MRI!
As MRI Supervisor you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the MRI department and:
- Work collaboratively with the Operational and Clinical Leadership team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Produce high quality diagnostic images and adapt protocols with guidance from the MRI Co-ordinator
- Be a problem solver to ensure operational success
- Foster a highly engaged and motivated MRI team to ensure a consistent and effective clinical workflow
- Train and develop your team members to improve performance, implementing training programs as needed, including relevant CPD
- This role is perfect for a highly motivated professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in MRI technology.
Experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or related field (Post Graduate MRI degree is highly desirable).
- Min 3 years’ experience in MRI (including MRI Level 1 Certificate and knowledge of MRI protocols and regulatory requirements), with the ability to draw on this to manage the day-to-day provision of the MRI service.
- Extensive and Strong knowledge of Medicare billing
- AHPRA registration & WWCC
- Demonstrated experience in optimising workflow and influencing desired outcomes
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and juggle several priorities across different locations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with and put patients at ease.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
- The operational demands of a first in class service delivery sometimes requires input out of hours and on weekends.
