Senior People & Culture Advisor

Key responsibilities

With a collaborative style and positive mindset, you thrive on providing a responsive and quality driven approach to your work.  Reporting to the P&C Manager, you will:

• Be the first point of contact for queries and provide generalist advice to managers and employees regarding P&C policies, procedures and programs.
• Support Managers to implement strategies that enhance employee performance and productivity including conducting performance reviews, delivering feedback and creating performance improvement plans.
• Deliver P&C projects aimed at improving P&C processes and systems, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Provide monthly and quarterly P&C reporting and data insights to support and enable evidence informed decisions
• Support the P&C Manager to deliver cyclical activities such as annual Remuneration Review, Performance Review & Development Planning, Employee Engagement Surveys and other employee engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of and review of policies, resources and documents associated with the P&C team, and ensure their continued accuracy, quality and accessibility.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a people-oriented person with the ability to form trusted working across all levels in the business.  Self-managing and accountable, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with ease with your stakeholders.  You will have an agile mindset, be commercially focused, pragmatic and able to produce timely outcomes for our internal clients.  Ideally, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management and/or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in a Senior People & Culture Advisor role (minimum 5+ years), ideally within a fast-paced, growing business across multiple sites.
• Practical working knowledge of Australian employment law (including Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Modern Awards).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to partner effectively with all stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a changing and evolving environment.
• Proven ability to work well within and contribute to a team, as well as, autonomously.
• Proactive in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Tech savvy and willing to look at ways of introducing technology to improve processes.
